“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”
(Revelation 3:21)
The above is Jesus’ call for our generation. And what is He calling us to overcome?
Being Lukewarm.
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”
(Revelation 3:15-16)
Many think of being lukewarm to Jesus as not having enough passion or affection, but He doesn’t say, “I know your heart,” He says, “I know your works . . .”
To be lukewarm is to be like a man who can’t choose between girlfriends. He may love them both, but he can’t commit fully to one through action. A lot of Christians today are the same. They can’t choose between Jesus and the World. They love them both and don’t want to fully commit to either through action.
REV321 Ministries is calling believers everywhere to strive for the promise of Revelation 3:21, to overcome lukewarmness by committing to Christ through action.
Our Logo
There are two ways to commit to Christ through action:
Acts of Righteousness ● Acts of Service
First, our name and logo reference Revelation 3:21, Jesus’ call for us to overcome.
Second, the colors of our logo symbolize the path of sanctification as we pursue Acts of Righteousness and holiness:
- REV in Black: Our sin is revealed as we compare ourselves to Christ.
- 3 in Red: The Trinity has provided the Blood of Christ to atone for our sins.
- 2 in Grey: The path of Sanctification of becoming more like Christ is a 2-way partnership between us and God.
- 1 in White: At the end of our walk, we will have WON (“one”) the victory as we are given white garments at the Wedding Supper of the Lamb
Third, our logo also appeals to Acts of Service with the colloquial “REV your engines, 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . . GO!”
That aspect pictures our determination to serve Jesus by going out into the community and blessing others!
